Honestly Dory doesn’t HAVE to live with them to be part of the family, and even if they didn’t get married or persue a romantic relationship, Dory could still be somewhat of a mother to nemo. No they didn’t get married at the end of the movie, but who’s to say they can’t. Nemo is an adventurous young fish whose overprotective father is a timid clownfish named Marlin. The moral of this film is that our horizons broaden and we make new friends when we persevere in the face of adversity and overcome our fears in order to face the world head-on. The film’s story is clearly a work of fiction created by Andrew Stanton with co-direction by Lee Unkrich What is the moral of Finding Nemo? … Every kid who watched the Pixar film fell in love with its heartwarming story and glorious animation. Recently theories have been surfacing about the real story behind Pixar’s ‘Finding Nemo. They suggest that Nemo was actually dead from the beginning of the film, suggesting that Marlin’s entire family, including Nemo’s mom, Nemo, and all of their other children, were killed by the fish - Meaning there were no survivors. In the film, this just makes Marlin that much more protective of his son. Nemo’s opening scene reveals that Nemo’s mom, Coral, was killed by a barracuda. In classic Disney fashion, Finding Nemo kills off a parent pretty much immediately. In fact, with a properly set up tank of 125 gallons or larger, you will be able to keep many of Nemo’s tankmates from the dentist’s office without the threat of them wanting to escape. Marlin watches as Nemo is able to successfully rescue her with skills he learned while in the tank at the dentist’s office. Marlin happily reunites with his son, but the moment is cut short when Dory is caught in a fishing net. But it also ends with a mini cliffhanger: the Tank Gang, a posse of fish stuck with Nemo in a dentist’s office, makes it to the ocean stuck in plastic bags. 2003’s “Finding Nemo” ends with Marlin and his son Nemo reunited.
